Full details on natural-dye:
Natural-dye is a practice, popular in most ancient civilizations in India, China, Egypt. For reference, China's dyes were plant-based, extracting from tree bark and insects, this practice has been around for more than 5,000 years.
Most variants of natural-dye is sourced from plants, such as tree roots, barks, berries, leaves, flowers, logs and organic families like mushroom and lichen. Based on geographic conditions and weathers, each region will have its own unique, signature natural selections.
At our Workshop, we will introduce you to Bundle Dye. This method will use flowers, leaves and vegetables to dye the surface of our mulberry silk.
We chose this method due to how accessible it is for everyone to practice at home, optimizing the waste from our used vegetables in our own cozy kitchen.
