Are the first images that come to mind when you think of silk?

Tussah is a type of silk originating from India. In its homeland, Tussah is produced from the larvae of some species of oak-eating silkworms belonging to the moth genus Antheraea Mylitta, Antheraca Proylei, Antherea Pernyi. These insects mainly live wild in the forest and are collectively called tussah silkworms.

In Vietnam, Tussah symbolizes imperfect beauty because of the intricacy and difference in the production process, creating the luxury of this high-class material.

Tussah is hand spun from the imperfect silk threads (broken silk, waste cocoons, torn cocoons) of the silkworm.

With uneven horizontal and vertical fibers, Linen is slightly dry, has a slight sheen but is not as flashy as the usual silk surfaces. However, Tussah still retains its characteristic softness, high durability and good heat resistance: Warm in winter & cool in summer.
