Silk 01 is the first collection that TimTay applies the zero waste design technique with 70% of the designs meeting the criteria of no excess fabric when cutting, minimizing waste in fashion. This is also an important step on the path of pursuing sustainable fashion style of TimTay.

Inspired by the classic cuts of Ao Giao Linh, Ao Tu Than and Ao Ngu Than, 21 designs of Silk 01 bring a more modern look, liberating the charm of the body while still maintaining the modesty of Asian women.


ZERO WASTE DESIGN
Silk 01's zero waste design is a technique that requires the coordination of three stages: Drawing - Shaping - Cutting according to the silk fabric width (0.9m or 1m1) to create a geometric pattern that leaves no excess fabric when cutting.

The collection incorporates many handmade details such as patchwork, pleating, twisting, embroidery, crochet and patterning with fabric strings. All create a harmonious design of restraint and uniqueness.


 





Silk 01 is a high-end fashion collection with high applicability. Designed in free size to fit all body shapes, freeing women's bodies from restrictive outfits, instead giving the wearer a feeling of relaxation.




USING HIGH-QUALITY BAO LOC SILK MATERIALS

The designs of Silk 01 are made from 03 silk materials: Habotai, Tussore, Shantung - representing 03 different beauties from silk, quality checked by reputable partner Nhat Minh Silk, Bao Loc. The color palette for the Collection is specially ordered in limited quantities.

Through Bao Loc silk, TimTay hopes to contribute to promoting Vietnamese silk materials as well as bringing customers the most authentic experiences of this high-quality material.


THE INTERSECTION OF THE BEAUTY OF SILK AND CERAMIC
Silk 01 marks the creative combination of fashion and ceramic when using Pebble Buttons (Pebble Ceramic Buttons) as the elegant highlight for this Collection.

Pebble Buttons are designed and handcrafted by Ceramic Artist Man Thien. Each button is unique, inspired by the beauty of stones that are randomly polished by ocean waves, water flow and nature. The softness of silk and the solidity of ceramic when placed side by side create a contrast but balance.
