Fashion through the lens of TimTay is always very ordinary outfits, worn for comfort, speaking the wearer's ego and carrying interesting stories behind.

With 12 genderless designs, the Fall-Winter 2020 Collection (FW20) is inspired by the beauty of Indochina mixed with details of Western clothing in the 50s. All are set in the context of the streets of Saigon in the 21st century.

One of the most valuable features of the Collection lies in the handmade works co-created and made by the recycled fashion brand - Archivesashiko. The works symbolize the balanced and regenerative beauty of nature through two main techniques: Patchwork on curves inspired by Doodle art and Sashiko hand embroidery.

Limited quantity collection, some original designs only available in a maximum quantity of 10.

* Patchwork: The act of assembling small pieces of fabric into one large piece of fabric.
* Sashiko: A form of reinforced sewing that appeared in the Edo period, Japan.
* Doodle art: Doodle and abstract art.

INDOCHIA - AN ENDLESS SOURCE OF INSPIRATION
The mysterious, colorful beauty of Indochina is the inspiration for FW20 to be born. Indochina details are easily recognizable through the details in the collar, the Chinese button or the curves and cuts in the sleeves and hem, which TimTay refreshes, simplifies and carefully places into each design. important, creating an image that is both traditional and modern, with the street colors of the 21st century.

APPLICABLE AND SUSTAINABLE DESIGN PERSPECTIVE
Sustainable fashion is the direction that TimTay has pursued since its founding in 2014. The concept of "sustainability" in design is the first thing we care about and the FW20 Collection is no exception.

FW20's designs focus on applicability, comfort for the wearer, and high quality of finished products to help prolong product life. Some designs have many functions and diverse uses to create a diverse experience for the wearer, typically the Langbiang Jacket, inspired by Liner M65 - the US military's adventure bra from the Vietnam War. Male. The shirt is quilted to keep warm, can be worn on both sides, and the sleeves are removable.

For TimTay, material is what connects the wearer to the product for the longest term. We only use 100% natural materials that can easily decompose over time. FW20 uses high quality linen and cotton fibers

Excess fabric pieces from the cutting and sewing process are also utilized to design interesting products such as notebook covers, necklaces, masks, and decorative scarves that carry the spirit of the Collection.

TECHNIQUE FOR ASSEMBLY FABRIC ON CURVES

FW20 marks the first collaboration with recycled fashion brand Archivesashiko. With a forte in fabric assembly, using traditional Japanese techniques such as Sashiko and Boro, Archivesashiko has applied it to FW20 to create impressive handmade works.

The fabric patches are made according to curves inspired by Doodle art, requiring much more precise and meticulous calculations than the usual geometric fabric patches. The overall work symbolizes the beauty of mysterious lands, where light and water flow help regenerate and balance life.

The FW20 collection brings together handcrafted designs produced in limited quantities, regardless of age or gender, as long as you have an open perspective in fashion.

TimTay always strives to convey the spirit of relentless creativity through each Collection. Hope everyone will pay more attention to creative products as well as be proud to wear a Vietnamese design for Vietnamese people.
